Have to admit...I cheated with the page protectors and ordered some from a local store here in Australia, because I've switched to an American Crafts album (really didn't like the turquoise album when it arrived!)Glad you've conquered your fear of sewing on plastic, but hope the PL goodies will be back in stock soon. Do you mean the picture with four little ones on it? That is one 4X6, I used a template from Paislee Press to do that...and also the milestones photo. I linked to them in last week's post. Oh, this is great Katie! I love it all - especially your 6x12 insert with all the photos of visiting with Great Grandpa! And great idea about using the pinking shears!! I don't sew, so I don't have to worry about keeping mine sharp for fabric!! :-)

That little "sleep" banner you made is adorable! I've been thinking about sewing on plastic too - I'm glad it worked out!! That might give me the push to try it too. I love the way you used the insert to tell the story of the generations meeting - such a special time!!

I'm so glad to see someone who did the sewing on a full sheet protector!!! I saw the trick on pinterest and thought about making some 6x12 pages for the random bits I've been trying to save for my finished book. Have you tried scrapbooking scissors instead of the pinking sheers? Or a cheap pair of pinking shears from WalMart? That way you can "save" the expensive ones!

what sweet memories and I love how babies bring out the socializing in grandparents. my grandparents go nuts over photos of my kids...wish they lived closer then 12 hours away. sewing on plastic...i haven't done that yet, trust that you can....just haven't.

I love twine too, do you order yours or have you found it locally? I have found 6x12 pages oddly at TJMaxx, Big Lots and other odd stores like that....you may want to try and see..
