I ♥ Greek Salad

Okay I am on a huge Greek Salad kick, I can't seem to get enough of it and I want to eat it every day! I have crave it so much, that I put all my energy and charm into getting Brad to take me to Panera for dinner last night, which is no easy feat because our big plans were to go to Costco to buy three cases of Diet Snapple. There's a coupon in their current mailer, and I am addicted to their diet peach tea. Really, if it wasn't Saturday and this wasn't a Saturday Salads post, I could have run on and on about my love affair with Snapple! It's my idea of the perfect beverage. If you don't know already, the big joke around here is that pizza at Costco is my husband's idea of an ideal date.I ate an enormous bowl of the stuff at Panera and ate it last week when I met my brother and mom for lunch before we visited my Grandparents and yet it's not enough! So I've been whipping up batches of this simple version, picture and recipe both from Martha Stewart, my favorite go to domestic gal. Try it! I like that the dressing isn't heavy as some can be, and I like my salad's heavily dressed. My mom would want beets on it hers. So if you do to, I'd say throw some on, but since I pick those off as well as the olives, I don't miss those one bit. I like to add a peperoncini for some kick.

Katie at A List Maker's Life has shared a really good sounding grape salad up this week, perfect for those of us with a sweet tooth. Go check out the other salads and leave one behind for us to try too!

While you're there be sure to tell Katie how fabulous her new blog makeover is! It's so pretty that it's making me want mine made over immediately!!! I've got something in the works, so be looking for my spot to be red carpet ready soon! I'm using a different designer that I found through my friend Kelli. If you are looking for a new look, head over to Joanna's she's running a GREAT sale but only for a short time!

  1. Thanks for participating Katie.
Thanks also for the kind words about my makeover. I'm still so excited about it myself! I can't wait to see what you come up with for your own. I'm sure it will be fabulous.
On your link within did you tell it what stories to choose or was it just smart enough to know they were related stories?

  5. Dave and I had Greek salads with grilled chicken last night - extra beets, of course! We stopped at Leo's Coney Island up on the corner. We'll go there next time you stop by. We brought our left-overs home! Mom
