Playing Beauty Shop

Almost everyday, I receive the star treatment from my own personal hair dresser. Now if only we could agree on just how many barrettes look good in at a time! She's got one side done and is busily working on the other. Besides the crown I am also wearing a lei to complete my look. Aren't I gorgeous? That's what she always says when I'm done, "Now your all gorgeous Mama!" Moments like these I want to remember forever.

Do your children have a favorite game or activity that you find yourself doing everyday? If so what is it? I'm always curious to know what has captured a child's facination!

  2. Too sweet Katie! Zoe loves getting a pedicure, and always asks to do mine. I don't let her as she is only 3 lol. My feet would be purple, pink, red or whatever other color we decide to use. Tonight it's yellow! She loves her feet pampered:)

  3. Oh yeah...I remember playing beauty shop. Adela still does it sometimes.

Lately, she has been wanting to pretend that we are in a band.

  4. I used to play beauty shop with Grandma and the Aunts. And you played that with me. It's nice to see some traditions carry on! : )

  5. Two daughters, and I've never done this! My hair gets tangled so easily, I've never wanted to deal with the pain. :) Books are the only thing we do everyday, but E loves board games and card games!

  8. Sigh. I'm jealous- there is nothing quite like having your hair played with- it's so relaxing! Our favorite household game lately is "school"- E "reads" books to J, and attempts to teach him the alphabet. It's really cute:)
