A Big Box of Crafty Yumminess: My Colorbök Giveaway Win!

At the end of September I read on their blog, that the Colorbök employees were participating in The Old Newsboys’ Goodfellow Doll Drive. Over 30 dolls were decked out in cute outfits, ready to be given out for the holidays to underprivileged children. It's a good cause, with the aim to make sure all little kids find some thing under the Christmas tree! I love to see companies giving back. An element of friendly competition was added and readers were asked to vote for their favorites in a "Best Dressed" Competition. I had ER pick out her top three; our choices were included with all the other entries and office ballots to pick three winners. While none of our picks won, I still won BIG TIME, as in crafty jack pot!Yesterday a big ol' box filled with Colorbök goodness showed up at our door! How fun is all this Now an "an awesome assortment of creative Colorbök products" can mean just about anything, but I have to say...this really WAS awesome!

Just look at all the Heidi Grace products above, I am a potential fan stalker LOVE her:) Those fairy rub-on have been on my wish list for quite some time and I always need more alphabets! The fun shaped photo mats, 2nd photo, are also great and at the top of my "must use immediately" pile of supplies. Two pretty paper packs were in the box. The 12X12 will be perfect to use with the rub ons, alphas, and photo mats. 48 sheets full of fairies, flowers, whimsical doodles, and even papers with sweet little mushroom fairy houses. Many are even glittery, and you KNOW I super duper big {HEART} glitter! So good for all the girly layouts that get created around here.

The smaller one is full of soft colors, a delicate palatte of yellows, pinks, and blues. A few sheets in this package are also glittered. An alphabet and accent punch out sheet are included, making it great for beginners building up their stash or small projects. It's so nice to use kits and know everything will work together! One of the coolest things sent was this big package of alphabet chipboard, it's pretty hefty at over an inch thick. There's a sheet for every letter, with lots of options and plenty of fun extras like flowers and hearts squeezed in here and there. The colorful package next to it is a set of alphabet punch-outs that you can use by themselves OR layer on top of the chipboard, pretty neat idea, huh?
I also got these bright and colorful Gerber daisy magnetic notepads, which will make even my Brad's chicken scratch writing look good on the fridge. There were also four coordinating purse sized notebooks. Two even came with pens, meaning no more scrounging around my big ol' bag to find one. The insides are blank pages, so they are perfect for on the go sketches as well as notes.
Rounding out my box were these way cute note cards and glittery stickers, that ER informed me, surely I didn't want. Cause wouldn't those be great for her craft kit?! I was thinking more along the lines of using them as pretty seals on the envelopes, but how can I argue with logic like that? She already took off once with the large package of paper, to inspect all the fairies, so that seemed like a good compromise. She'd apparently like it to be glittery plus scratch and sniff paper since I caught her rubbing her nose on it, LOL!

A big thank you to Colorbök, and designer extraordinaire Betty...who coordinated this giveaway☺, for indulging my insatiable addiction love of paper and sending this fabulous box of crafting crack supplies!

You can see more of Colorbök products on their webpage, including their fun Build-A-Bear make at home line that ER has and that we've given as gifts. They are also on Facebook, Twitter, and their Studio Blog. The blog has all sorts of fun stuff like this cute Halloween project, mini container garden, and even free wallpaper designs for your desktop and phones. I especially enjoy this company because they are based in my home state of Michigan, so really I HAVE to buy all that stuff at Joann's to support my "local" business:) Do you think Brad will buy that?
