Jungle Jane Brag Book + Freebie Link

I just finished making the cutest little brag book, using Louise's brand new digital kit Jungle Jane to create each page. I've made the whole thing into a set of Quick Pages. Now you can make your own too!The colors of the kit were perfect to showcase pictures from our trip to the Philadelphia Zoo. It was so green and humid when we went, and with the variety of animals we saw, it was kind of like our own little jungle adventure! After all the pages were designed, I went back and added my pictures to each one. I also added a few titles and journaling throughout. Then I got each page developed as 4X6 photo. Since that's a standard print size, it was so easy and inexpensive to get them professionally printed and then quick to assemble. No cutting required:)
I wanted the whole book to be double sided, just like a real book. This where the frame page, included with quick pages, come in. It's been used for the lefthand side of each double page spread, but you could use it to extend the length of your book and include even more pictures too!
How? Just print them out on the frame page and add them where you want in the book. I picked a neutral background for the frame so it would work with a wide variety of pictures. If your brag book includes a couple different events you could use the designed pages as your dividers and add all the extra pictures behind it on frame pages. Fun!To assemble, lay out your pages in the order you want them to appear. Adhere them back to back and bind. I have a comb binder at home, but a copy shop can also do it for you. You could also hole punch the top left corner and put them on a ring clip. Quick, easy, and inexpensive. You can even just slip them into a purchased album. My book has a total of six double sided pages in it, and it's the perfect size for slipping in your purse and for little hands to hold. I suggest printing your photos with a non-glossy finish, often referred to as a lustre or matte finish. On glossy photos, fingerprints and smudges show up much more easily and the whole point of the project is to enjoy and look at your pictures! You want it to stand up to being handled.
Here's what you'll get in the freebie available, for Personal Use Only, now at Adori Graphics. It includes all the pages and a cute cover for your book too. It's ready for you to add your pictures, titles, and journaling. Enjoy!

  4. Hi Katie! I haven't checked in what seems like ages. Fall is so busy. Hope you and the family are healthy and enjoying all that fall has to offer. I am amazed at how grown up ER looks. Holy kitty cat! That last picture of her threw me for a loop. She doesn't look like a baby anymore! Still beautiful as ever just much older.
