Earlier this month we had a little friend stop by. Daddy caught him in an old canning jar.
We kept him for awhile; I was surprised by ER's excitement. Could it be? My little girly girl into amphibians?
Eventually we let him hop away home. Now ER wants a little froggy friend for a pet.
My daughter loves all crawly things. She picks up worms and frogs like it's no big deal. I don't want anything to do with them! She even told us once, not to kill the flies in the house b/c they were her friends. And she can be a girly-girl sometimes too w/ her princess clothes and babies & barbies. Isn't it funny how they surprise us?

ReplyDeleteWe've never actually caught any of the frogs we occasionally see around here. They find a hidey hole and bolt into it.
Frogs are so cute!! We get little tiny tree frogs here, but they are impossible to catch.
