A Crafty Soiree #37

Teacher Appreciation Week may officially be over, but I know many of us still plan on giving our childrens' teachers a thank you at the end of the year.  There were several teacher gifts linked up last week, here are three to give you some ideas for how to tell your teacher they are special!
At Blackberry Vine, Jami's school had four days of themed Teacher Appreciation Days.  She's got some really good presentation ideas for pencils, stickers or a note pad, candles - instead of markers or pens, and you can download the labels she used.  PLUS an over the top "flower" gift, her child's teacher will love the garden basket she put together.
I love these ruffled bookmarks at Funky Polkadot Giraffe, she's even got a tutorial for you!  Teachers are suckers for anything literacy based and getting it with a handwritten note from their student will melt their heart.
When in doubt as to what's a good gift for your teacher, take it from me a former kindergarten and special education teacher, flowers always work!  At Landee See, Landee Do she's got a great way to pretty them up...the cute little message is available for you to use too!

  • Link up your creative projects! Crafts, Kid Crafts, Decor, Recipes, Sewing and Organizing tips are are welcome.
  • Add up to FOUR links to share, you can link up projects from your archives, but please make sure it's not something you've previously linked up to A Crafty Soiree AND you add a link back to the party!
  • Add your links to the specific posts and not your blog's homepage.
  • Add my Crafty Soiree button above or link back to me in your posts, so others can find us and join in!

  2. I think I just fell in love with that ruffled bookmark. I know it's not holiday time, and you're talking teacher gifts, but I love it as a stocking stuffer idea too.

PS> SO happy we met at RR. I hope we get more time to chat while we're here!
