A Crafty Soiree #81

Since this weekend is St. Patrick's Day, and you've all be linking up the most incredible projects I'd be remiss if I didn't feature a couple for the luckiest day of the year!  A Little About A Lot has a fun onesie project that doesn't require sewing so it's perfect for those last minute crafters.  My favorite part of this project is what will be on your little one's rear, but you'll have to go see to find out what it is!  Super cute!

I'll leave you with a combination birthday AND St. Patrick's Day related project, how's that for multi-tasking :)  Meaningful Mama's daughter wanted a rainbow themed birthday party so she whipped up these bright and colorful headbands for each of the little guests.  Fun & tutorial included!

Giveaway! $25 Oh My Crafts Gift Card

Over the next few weeks I've got some great projects to share with you, featuring the brand new Oh My Crafts Cube Wood Shapes and their Fabric Fat Quarters.  I've had so much fun being creative with them and the vinyl I previously reviewed. The Oh My Crafts Blog is full of creative projects to use the crafting goodies you can pick up on their site, like this fun 3D Shamrock.  It uses their unfinished large wood shamrock and the green is made out of Bazzill Basics 12X12 cardstock in Hillary.  Check out their post for the full how-to and supply list.

There are also beautiful scrapbook layouts, like Lucky in Love.  I like the double matting, doesn't that orange really make the photos pop, and all the detail like the inked edges.  The title is really eye catching, incorporating a trendy banner large letters cut with the Sizzix eclips Cartridge: Decorate Your Life.

Remember the vinyl projects I did for Oh My Crafts?  Well besides my own, there are lots ideas for vinyl enthusiasts.  This wood board that reminds me of the ever popular subway art, is one of my favorites and so easy to switch up for any time of year.

Birthday Giveaway

Today is my birthday!  To celebrate turning 35, I wanted to give one of you a present.  When I bought this special issue, I picked up an extra to give away.  It seemed like it had an appropriate topic, don't you think?  I'll throw a couple extra goodies into the envelope when I send it.  Shhh....they're a surprise because everyone likes a birthday surprise, don't you think? ☺
