Tiered Skirts at Sew Fierce

My friend Stephanie at Sew Fierce has added some fun tiered skirts to her store and look what is on the way over to our house. Isn't it the cutest? She made it just for ER because we were looking for something blue. I can't wait to see her in it, thank you Stephanie!

Corky & Co Penny Sale

The first thing I hear every morning is, "Can I wear a dress?" It's hard to get ER in anything else, so I'm in the market for several more cute ones to get us through the summer. Luckily, I just found out about a fabulous sale from Corky & Company!

It's a huge one with 2500 dresses starting at just a penny on Ebay. Shipping on the first item is $5.85 and each additional item is $2.15. You can find all the dresses currently listed here, but I found it easier to search by a specific size through this link.
I found several cute dresses, I'm especially in love with the smocked dresses. I think these are just darling on little ones. The fun nautical print of this blue sailboat dress caught my eye right away. The blue color is perfect for ER and the little details like the bows on the straps make it a great addition to any wardrobe.
ER also really liked the halter style dress above, with all the differently patterned fish. Back on the nautical theme, we also found this pink sailboat shift dress, a great classic style! Right now there are many styles and prints to choose from but hurry and make your bids for the best selection. This is a great opportunity to get brand new with tags dresses from a company normally found at high end department stores, at the best prices imaginable!

I'd love to know what pieces you're looking to add to your child's summer wardrobe, let me know what he or she likes to wear.

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!

Besides being May Day, today is also National Scrapbooking Day, when scrapbooking and memory keeping enthusiasts come together and celebrate their hobby. There are special events, sales, and freebies at many of the online scrapbooks stores like and lots of local crops going on as well. As you all know I am a big time scrapbooker and paper crafter so I am all about NSD. {Page Credits: Little Scholar Kit by Jady Day Studio and Jane Template from Simple Scrapper.}

I've been very consumed with finishing the eleven 20 paged preschool memory books for ER's classmates but have had a little time to play around for fun. Here is my most recent digital page. The journaling would be underneath the title but I removed it for privacy. It was super quick to put together because I used a template and just had to drag and click all the elements into place. Feels a little like cheating but you can customize things by the elements you choose and best of all, it's very quick and easy to do. Seriously, like ten minutes, I can't even drag out all my cutter, adhesive, etc. and pick papers in that amount of time.I managed to finally track down some Disney themed rub-ons to add to the cover of the Snapfish photo book I made of our trip. The title reads Our Magical Memories; the red letters in the title stand out more from the linen cover in person. I'm pretty happy with it, I think give it a nice finishing touch. I love using rub-ons to customize covers, making it look less generic.

It's also great to already have something done with all my favorite photos and the gist of our memories recorded. I will probably make a small traditional paper scrapbook, at least that's my intention but who knows when I'll get around to it. This way I know the photos are off the memory card and being enjoyed right away.
There's nothing like some new supplies to get the creative juices flowing, I've been waiting for these new lines from Doodlebug Designs to hit the stores. They are SO super cute, I picked up papers from their summer line and I love the new punch out accents to go with them; I really like the journaling cards. They'll be a great way to encourage me to get my own handwriting on the page. I also picked up the coordinating stickers and border stickers. With so many coordinating supplies, I think I feel a mini book in the works!I couldn't resist also picking up papers, stickers, and die cut sheets for the farm line. Who am I kidding, I didn't even try to hold back. I've got several field trips and visits with friends to scrap and these will be perfect. I also succumbed to the transportation line☺ Shopping was tons of fun, and made up for our rained out plans that we originally had for today. I can't wait to actually get to play with this stuff, it's part of my Mother's Day present from ER so I've got to wait until next weekend to actually get it. Happy Scrapping and Creating!
