Daisy and Maisie: ID Holder Minibook Freebie

Photobucket
The new digiscrapping release from Adori Graphics is full of girly fun with bright colors, and lots of cute patterns: polka dots, stripes, and flowers...OH MY! The two little friends are my favorite part. I love that one has brown hair...reminding me of my own cutie patootie!

As soon as I saw all this this kit, I knew it would be perfect for a little project I've been wanting to make for my chicklet. Daisy and Maisie was just the thing for a little minibook featuring my daughter's friends.

To make it extra sturdy I sized it to fit inside of ID badge holder sheets. That makes it not only super cute, cause aren't mini things just somehow cuter, but also means it's portable. She can wear it around the house like a necklace. If you come here with any amount of regularity, you're probably already aware...my girly loves accessories!

Here's a preview of how the book looks all assembled. I've created a cover, three page options - one of which is less girly (no flowers here☺) for the boys, and three journaling pages. You can place a picture page inside an empty ID holder and write a little bit about the friend on a card to put behind it. Or you can do all picture pages, it's up to you, but please be respectful of the designer's copyright and use this freebie for Personal Use Only!

Of course, I've got the whole thing available as a download for you too! Here are the photo pages, each with a spot for one picture and a space to add a name. I edited our little friend's names out of the preview for privacy. Just right click and hit save as to download, from left to right: Front Cover, Friends Page 1, Friends Page 2, Button Frame.

Here are links for the journaling inserts, also from left to right: Green Journaling Card, Blue Journaling Card, and Red Journaling Card. These are not the only cool freebies you can get featuring the brand new Daisy and Maisie kit. The Design Team has put together a set of quick pages, so stop by each member to pick them up on our blog train! Here's a full list:

Crystal Light Pure Review

I know a lot of us are looking for great tasting drinks without a lot of sugar and calories, and as a diabetic that's especially important to me. Drinking water is great, but after awhile it can get old! A girl needs options for ways to stay hydrated! I already enjoy several flavors of Crystal Light at home, their teas are my favorite!

When I found out that their new product Crystal Light Pure contains no artificial sweeteners, flavors or preservatives I was really excited! It is sweetened with sugar and TruviaTM, an all-natural, no-calorie sweetener derived from the stevia plant, and it is colored and flavored with natural ingredients. Translation for me? I can enjoy a flavorful beverege and the grape flavor has only got 3g of carbs per serving, for a total of 6g per 16.9 ounce bottle of water.

Crystal Light Pure offers a naturally sweetened, great-tasting way for women to enjoy drinking the water they need and contains just 15 calories per 8 fl. oz. serving (one/half stick), compared to other leading fitness beverages which contain 10 to 50 calories for a similar serving size. (Compared to 10 calories in Propel, 20 calories in G2 and 50 calories in Gatorade per 8 fl. oz. serving) Each Crystal Light Pure packet will transform a 16.9-ounce bottle or glass of water into a light, refreshing beverage.
  • It is available in five delicious flavors: Grape, Strawberry Kiwi, Tropical Blend, Mixed Berry and Lemonade.
  • Two flavors (Grape and Strawberry Kiwi) contain electrolytes to help aid hydration during light physical activity when you consume one packet (two servings). This makes it a perfect partner to add to your healthy, active lifestyle.
  • Crystal Light Pure flavors contain 4 grams of sugar per serving.
  • Crystal Light Pure comes in convenient On The Go packages.
I really love the On The Go Packages, for quickly adding to either a bottle or glass of water. I lke to slip one on my purse. Now I've always got something onhand when I'm out visiting friends and family, who aren't always prepared for thirsty diabetics with appropriate drinks! I also also like to stash a few in my car for back up. The portability really makes this a great product! I also really like knowing that the pretty color the drink turns is the result of natural ingredients.

I got the grape to sample and really like the flavor, but Strawberry Kiwi is probably my favorite followed by Lemonade. Those are just flavors I'd more naturally gravitate toward, but grape is definitely a refreshing change of pace. I have and will continue to purchase Crystal Light Pure in the future!

Alicia & Me Scrapbook Layout

Photobucket
I've been missing my friend Alicia more than usual lately. She's also ER's Godmother and these are from the last time we were all together. As you can tell by how little ER looks, it's been far too long. Just not fair that you can't always be by the ones you love!
