Creative Scrapbook Divas: Holidays in Review Challenges

Have you entered the "Be My Valentine Blog Hop" challenge, that I gave on Monday? The blog hop continues through the 14th and you have until the 17th to finish a home decor project and enter to win the RAK I've offered! It's got a miniscrapbook kit, cool clear embellishment packs, and love themed stickers!

To show you how much fun being a member of CSDivas is, I wanted to share the challenge entries I did for the Holidays in Review Blog Hop during Maryanne's January Online Crop. I got two layouts done and several pictures scrapped, always a good thing! Each month there are several challenges you can do and they're a great way to keep you motivated to scrap and create!
Christmas Photos at Home
I picked Ann's Christmas Tree and Decorations Challenge to do. She had several ways you could participate and I decided to scraplift her layout. I ran into a little trouble when I went to make the tree embellishment and thought the end result was too busy. Patterned tree on top of patterned paper equaled just too much! In the end, since I had a long story I wanted to tell, I replaced the tree with journaling block. The Doodlebug Designs patterned paper, die cuts, and stickers are just so cute, it was fun to use them!
Gift Time
I also did Cheryl's Christmas Gift Layout Challenge and scraplifted the Double Up #3: 2 Page Layout at Get It Scrapped, combining the two examples for this layout. This one is different for me because the title goes across both pages. The letter /M/ and present sticker are both cut in half along the edges.
