33 Weeks

Last Friday we were official 33 weeks along and we had our first non stress test at the hospital.  I'll be going twice a week for them from now on.  I was worried about what I'd do with ER for all those appointments, but thought I'd try bringing her along to see how she was.  She was so good, that I'm planning on having her accompany me unless I also have an OB/Endocrinology appointment first because those can add another two hours. She sat and colored, snacked, and chatted with me while we listened to the heart beat; waiting for the 20-40 minutes pass and proof that baby is active inside to show on the tape roll.  It was actually kind of relaxing.

As you can see, I am now giant sized!  I thought that black and white dress looked cute until I saw the picture and saw a bovine connection!  My friends say I don't really look like a heifer but I certainly feel very unweildy and awkward.  I finally broke down and got some more support and was shocked to find out other areas have grown significantly as well.  Last time I didn't change sizes at all, but this time I went in and measured two sizes bigger!!!
That was our second trip to the hospital last week, on Tuesday I had my 32 week ultrasound.  Brad and I brought ER, and she got to see the baby for the second time.  Baby weighed in at 4 lbs 12 ounces and is in the 60th percentile so his growth is up a bit from last time.  We should have at least one more full measurement ultrasound before he's born, in about four weeks and will get to glimpse him at least once a week when they do a quick fluid level check before the non stress tests.

That´s really sweet.
You look great and i hope that it all keeps good for the final stage.
I´ve been there twice and that was when I felt really tired, so rest as much as you can as you will need it.
Take care.

You look really good, Katie! I think every mom is self-conscious once those last few weeks come into play. The black and white dress is really cute, and so glad you are able to have a "doctor visit buddy" in ER. Having E along with me for those last few months of doctor visits and lab draws is actually a pretty sweet memory before she became a big sister.

Love,
C:)

Lucky you for other areas growing. I guess I'm doomed since pregnancy was my only hope and it hasn't happened either time. I updated today and our little one is only in the 15th percentile. You are looking happy and healthy!!

Looking great, Katie! My oldest went to every single OB appointment with me when I was pregnant with my youngest. I think it helped prepare her for having a new baby in the house.

I certainly didn't think cow! I remember when I tried on a bathing suit...so cute until a friend commented about it being tableclothish...and she was right! I bought a different one.

Love how carefully you worded that. I grow all over during pregnancy...this time is no exception!
