Mint Chocolate Cupcake Gift Bag and Card

Last week ER went to a birthday party for one of her little friends from the neighborhood and preschool. I turned a shopping bag from a recent trip to the Hanna Andersson outlet into a gift bag with some stuff from my stash horde of scrapbook supplies.
I used the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge to cut out the cupcake and messed up had an extra cupcake so I turned it into a matching card.
Here's the card and the back of the bag together. It might be hard to tell from the top picture but the paper has an argyle pattern with little cupcakes on it. So the design pulled everything together nicely.
The sun was messing with my pictures, but I think you can tell from this one that there is glitter on the paper I used to create the cupcake accents. I used some adhesive foam to give it a little dimension. I think the set turned out pretty cute...and yes I'm totally aware it could also be a bon bon not a cupcake but I liked this die cut the bestest so I used it anyway.

PS: Unfortunately for all of my dear readers, I finally got around to Googling just figured out how to make a strike through. I apologize in advance if I tend to abuse this knowledge in the foreseeable future☺

Great job reusing the bag and making it better. Also great way to cover your mistakes =D That's why I think scrap is in scrapbooking =D.
