Disney Junior channel, is one already very popular. Jake and the Never Land Pirates, is cable's #1 series for Boys 2-5 since its launch and on track to be Disney Channel's #1 preschool series ever. This hit show currently airs daily 8:30-9 a.m. EST/PST.
The show currently is among one of the most co-viewed preschool series, with 45% of moms watching with their preschooler. I personally like it because of it's pirate theme, and getting to see Captin Hook. The introduction of a crew of kid pirates – leader Jake and pals Izzy and Cubby is what ER likes. Naturally, she loves Izzy and how she uses the fairy dust to help all three fly.
The show features the kid pirates and their adventures on Neverland as they use teamwork, problem-solving and physical activity, to earn gold doubloons. All this while they conquer a variety of tasks and outwit Captain Hook and Mr. Smee, from Disney's classic "Peter Pan."
Soon an all new special holiday epsiode will premiere. You can check out “It's A Winter Never Land!/Hook On Ice," on Friday, Dec. 2 (8:30-9 a.m. EST/PST). In it, Jake, Izzy and Cubby awake to find that Peter Pan has left the crew some presents and a tree to celebrate Winter Treasure Day, and Captain Hook invites Jake and the crew on a winter treasure hunt. It's a whole lot of holiday fun, and ER had a good time watching to see if Captain Hook would do the right thing. I liked how it has a good message and how the kids work together. The special holiday episode ends as all the episodes do, with a fun catchy "pirate rock" tune performed by Sharky and Bones of The Never Land Pirate Band.
I hope you'll tune in to Disney Junior on Friday, Dec. 2 (8:30-9 a.m. EST/PST) to see “It's A Winter Never Land!/Hook On Ice," starring Jake and the Neverland Pirates!
