Double Sided Stand Up Chipboard Book or Centerpiece

This adorable stand up chipboard accordion book that can double as a 3D centerpiece as both sides are decorated. Here's how I made it: Cut chipboard into 4X5 pieces. You will want a total of five and a 12X12 pieces will yield six pieces to work with. I would look for a thicker piece to use with this project as you want your finished project to be sturdy enough to stand up on it's own. Cut ten pieces of 4X5 pieces of decorative paper. I used three different papers and cut four picees from two of the papers and two pieces from the third. Ink the edges of your paper and paint the edges with a color that coordinates with your paper. This is not necessary but I think it gives the project a more finishd look.Adhere paper to chipboard, I used Mod Podge and put them underneath something heavy while they dried. Punch holes, one near each corner to use for binding with ribbon. See photo below for hole placement. That's my Crop-A-Dile, but an anywhere punch, the kind used for setting eyelets would work too. You will just have to hit it a few more times than normal.
Decide how you will line up your pieces.Embellish two panels with quotes, stickers, etc. Attach your pictures, mine are approximatly 3X4. Tie panels together with ribbon.

Here is another view of the embellished sides, I used vellum sticker phrases I've had in my stash for the longest time. Most of the stickers are by Jolee's and the metal holly brad and leaves is by Making Memories.
The photos are from the past few years, I thought it would be fun to show how much ER has changed all in one project. On one end I tied a little metal charm and I will tie another one on the opposite side when I'm finished.
Here's the backside. Two photo spaces are blank, one for a picture from this year and one from last year that I still need to get developed. I think it'll look really cute standing out on a table this year.
